Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov thanked his Australian counterpart Richard Marles, Ukraine's Ambassador to Australia Vasyl Myroshnychenko and all Australians for supporting Ukraine.
The Ukrainian minister showed the work of the Australian armored vehicle Bushmaster on Facebook.
"September 2022. Thanks to the Bushmaster, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reached the Oskil River and continue to liberate Kharkiv Region," Reznikov said.
Bushmaster - Australian four-wheel drive armoured vehicles. Manufactured by Thales Australia under the license of Timoney Technology, an Irish company. Not intended to participate in combat, only to transport the military to the mission area. They are mine and ambush protected.
Australia presented Ukraine with several dozens of these machines.
