The Ukrainian flag was hoisted in the village of Pishchane in Luhansk Region on 11 September,
the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Serhiy Hayday, has said.
"The village of Pishchane, Starobilsk District. The morning of 11 September 2022. We have the best people... who know how to wait and not lose faith," he said.
Hayday also published a photo with the blue and yellow flag flying over the settlement.
Earlier, the Derhachiv city council (Kharkiv Region) published a photo of the raising of the Ukrainian flag in Kozacha Lopan. This population centre is located near the border with Russia.
Also, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the liberation of Kharkiv Region's Chkalovske village.
