The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has confirmed the liberation of Kupyansk in Kharkiv Region from Russian occupation.
"Officers of the SBU's Special Operations Centre A are in Kupyansk, which was and always will be Ukrainian! We will liberate our land to the last inch! Let's go further!" the SBU press centre said.
As reported earlier, the state flag of Ukraine was raised in Balakliya, Kharkiv Region.
In recent days, Ukrainian troops have liberated over a thousand square kilometres of Ukrainian territory from the occupiers. In some areas, Ukrainian troops have penetrated the enemy defence to a depth of up to 50 km. More than 30 settlements temporarily occupied by the Russian occupants in Kharkiv Region have been liberated or taken under control.
