The occupiers are urging Ukrainians who have already evacuated from temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions to return home as soon as possible, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff has said. The deadline is set for 1 October. The enemy is preparing for so-called "referendums" and trying to create the appearance of a great "turnout" of the people, the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories has said.

"People are being intimidated and blackmailed with confiscation of their property and real estate left in the temporarily occupied territories," the statement reads.

The Reintegration Ministry recalls that this is a provocation because returning to a TOT carries a danger to life and a great risk to be unable to leave it later.

"Do not believe the calls and threats of the occupiers. It is a trap. Their aim is to force you to return by any means, they need 'pictures' for their farce. Wait for de-occupation - it won't be long now. Do not put yourself and your family in danger!" Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said.

Russians are demanding that TOT residents who left the occupied area return by 1 October or their homes will be confiscated.
