An 11-year-old girl succumbed to wounds caused by a Russian rocket attack on the city of Chuhuyiv, the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Synehubov, has said.
"An innocent child has been killed by Russian terror. Unfortunately, an 11-year-old girl hospitalised in Chuhuyiv died of injuries," he said.
There are other victims.
"Another woman was injured after the strikes on Chuhuyiv, the injured is in medium condition," Synehubov said.
For his part, the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Andriy Yermak, called the Russians "weak losers fighting children".
"The russians killed an 11-year-old girl in Chuhuyiv. Weak losers who are fighting children. the russian nation is shameful because it is responsible for those who commit cowardly crimes. For those who crossed the future of entire generations of russians, who will pay the price for all this, because of their own complexes and inadequacies," he wrote on Telegram.
