Russian troops once again shelled Zaporizhzhya Region, destroying a gymnasium, a sports club, a culture centre and damaging residential high-rises, the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Starukh, has said on Telegram.
Four Russian missiles were launched at the Tavriyske village. The Perspektyva gymnasium, a sports club and a local culture centre were destroyed.
Another strike targeted residential high-rises in the town of Stepnohirsk. People were lucky to take shelter in time.
One person in the town of Orikhiv was injured by Russian shelling.
"In the absence of success on the front line, Russia is systematically destroying the civilian infrastructure of the region. The occupier is striking residential neighbourhoods and civilian infrastructure in violation Of International Humanitarian Law and the laws and customs of war," he said.
