Israel's ambassador to Ukraine, Michael Brodsky, has said he was "appalled by the horrific pictures of mass graves found in the recently liberated area near Izyum" in Kharkiv Region.
He added in a tweet that "intentional killing of civilians cannot be justified and must be investigated".
A burial place of about 20 military personnel with their hands tied behind their backs and around 500 civilian graves were found in liberated Izyum, Ukrainian ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets announced today.
