During the visit, the leadership of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration headed by Pavlo Kyrylenko together with the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Yenin, Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine Serhiy Kruk and heads of law enforcement agencies came to Donetsk Region and planted the flag of Ukraine on the border of Kharkiv and Donetsk regions – the SES Press Service informs.
The de-occupation became possible due to the liberation of the Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhanskyi highway section by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which in a heavy battle forced the russian occupiers to retreat from there.
Therefore, to ensure the safe work of specialists involved in the restoration of settlements life support works on demining of the area, critical infrastructure, residential buildings and roads, as well as ensuring law and order have started.
More than 20 military administrations are to be established in Kharkiv Region after the liberation of the territories as a result of the Ukrainian counteroffensive.
