The russian army attacked a humanitarian convoy on its way out of Zaporizhzhya. As of 9:30, there are 23 dead and 28 wounded - the head of the Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Starukh said on Telegram.
"People were standing in line to leave for the temporarily occupied territory to pick up their relatives, to bring aid. There are dead and wounded," he wrote.
Rescuers, medics, and all relevant services are now working at the site. According to the Presidential Office, the enemy fired 16 missiles at civilian cars. There was no military equipment there.
40 minutes before this message, Starukh wrote about a strike on the outskirts of Zaporizhzhya - thus, two strikes were inflicted.
Mayor of Enerhodar Dmytro Orlov said that there were no registered residents of Enerhodar among the dead. According to the updated information, seven cars with people with Enerhodar residence registration were reportedly going from Zaporizhzhya to Enerhodar this morning. The authorities managed to contact them all.
Currently, officials are checking whether there were any residents of Enerhodar who joined the humanitarian convoy in the morning and had not managed to do the registration.
