The European Union has signed a memorandum of mutual understanding on the provision of 5 billion euros of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced on Twitter.
"The EU has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the provision of 5 billion euros of macro-financial assistance to Ukraine. I am grateful to Ursula von der Leyen and Valdis Dombrovskis for this decision," the statement reads.
Shmyhal added that this is another gesture of the EU, which intends to support Ukraine in winning the war against russia, restoring and striving for a European future.
