President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called for the establishment of a Special Tribunal to investigate the crimes of the russian occupational troops in Ukraine, the statement made during the public debate "War and Law" in the framework of the event "Night of Law" initiated by the Chairman of the Constitutional Council of France Laurent Fabius says.

"A Special Tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine should be established. So that it can punish those who, unfortunately, cannot be reached by the International Criminal Court and all other existing judicial institutions of the world," Zelenskyy stressed.

According to him, "the project of the tribunal had been introduced to our partners".

"When we create a special tribunal on russian aggression, the very fact of preparing indictments and issuing arrest warrants for those who planned and ordered to start this aggression will be the most powerful signal to all other potential aggressors in the world," Zelenskyy said, inviting France to join the negotiations on the establishment of a special tribunal.
