The Ukrainian Defence Ministry has said that the Armed Forces' priority demand for winter clothing has already been covered.

"The work to fully meet all the needs continues," the ministry said on its website.

In particular, from 6 to 12 of October, more than 24,000 winter jackets, up to 17,000 pairs of shoes, including almost 12,500 winter shoes, were delivered to the Armed Forces. In addition, more than 27,000 winter hats, 35,000 insulated fleece jackets and 93,500 sets of demi-season and winter underwear were delivered.

The Defence Ministry noted that among almost 20 items of winter clothing, the supply of winter jackets, shoes, hats, thermal underwear, socks and fleece is under special control. At the same time, "statistics on the supply of winter uniforms changes very quickly and mainly depends on logistics".

Almost 13,000 bulletproof vests and 10,000 helmets were transferred for the needs of the Ukrainian army. Currently, a reserve of more than 180,000 bulletproof vests and tens of thousands of helmets has already been formed for the Armed Forces.

Earlier today, Lithuania announced the next package of military assistance to Ukraine, which will include, in particular, winter uniforms for the Armed Forces.
