The Armed Forces of Ukraine have already liberated 1,620 settlements from Russian occupiers, the Presidential Office reports.
"Today is an important holiday - the Day of Ukrainian Defenders. It is the Day of Heroes, who are respected by the whole country and whose exploits are heard all over the world. I congratulate all those who defend Ukraine and remember all those who gave their lives for Ukraine. Thanks to you, 1,620 settlements have already been liberated from Russian invaders," the statement reads.
The Presidential Office reminded that it is the 233rd day of the heroic resistance of the people of Ukraine to the insidious aggression of the Russian Federation. The Armed Forces of Ukraine heroically perform their functions, and the employees of emergency, special and municipal services work almost around the clock.
