Commenting on the morning enemy attacks on civilian infrastructure, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba called for no delay in making a decision on the provision of air defence systems to Ukraine.
"Saturday in Ukraine starts with a barrage of Russian missiles aimed at critical civilian infrastructure. We have intercepted part of them, others hit targets. Air defense saves lives. There should not be a minute of delay in capitals deciding on air defense systems for Ukraine," he tweeted.
In a later tweet, he accused Russia of conducting genocide of Ukrainians.
"Deliberate strikes on Ukraine’s critical civilian infrastructure are part of Russia’s genocide of Ukrainians. Article 2(c) of the Genocide Convention: 'Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part'," he said.
On the morning of October 22, Russians struck energy facilities in different regions of Ukraine, causing power outages in Khmelnytskyy, Lutsk and Rivne among others.
