The National Energy Company Ukrenergo introduces a temporary restriction on electricity consumption in the city of Kyiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Zhytomyr regions, the company's message on Facebook states.
"On the morning of 22 October, electricity consumption in the city of Kyiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Zhytomyr regions increased significantly again. Therefore, the dispatch center of Ukrenergo was forced to temporarily limit consumption in these regions," it said.
It is noted that the level of the restrictions is currently much lower than the one that was in force on the eve of 21 October.
Earlier, explosions were reported to have occurred in Khmelnytskyy Region during the morning air raid. The regional center now has no electricity. There are also reports of power outages in Lutsk and Rivne.
