To maintain stable power system operation, the Ukrenerho Dispatch Center is forced to introduce a temporary controlled restriction of electricity consumption in three more regions: Kharkiv, Poltava and Sumy regions. The biggest restrictions will be applied in the city of Kyiv and Kyiv Region, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr regions, Ukrenerho informed on Telegram.
The restrictions will help to reduce the power grid load and give power engineers time to repair the equipment damaged by Russia's terrorist attacks.
"Please keep your phones charged and pass on information to those who do not use social networks," - the Ukrenerho noted.
They added that economical consumption will help avoid forced outages.
