Ukrainian troops pushed Russians out of Karmazynivka, Myasozharivka and Nevske in Luhansk Region and Novosadove in Donetsk Region, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has said.
Ukrainian troops also repelled enemy attacks near the settlements of Spirne, Soledar, Bakhmut, Andriyivka, Maryinka and Pervomayske.
Aviation of the Defence Forces carried out 17 strikes yesterday. The destruction of 13 clusters of Russian weapons and military equipment and four positions of anti-aircraft missile systems was confirmed. In addition, air defence units shot down two helicopters in different areas.
Missile troops and artillery struck four command posts, 10 clusters of manpower, weapons and military equipment, six ammunition depots, an anti-aircraft missile system, an area of artillery firing positions and three other important enemy targets.
At the same time, the Russians carried out three missile and seven air strikes, as well as three attacks from multiple rocket launchers. Civilian infrastructure facilities in Kupyansk, Kharkiv Region, Vuhledar and Soledar, Donetsk Region, and Mykolayiv city were hit.
According to the command, in order to slow down the counteroffensive of Ukrainian units, the Russians continue to mine bridges and crossings on the retreat routes in Mykolayiv and Kherson regions.
In Kherson Region, the Ukrainian defense forces in the south liberated more than 90 settlements with more than 12,000 residents.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published an appeal to the Russian army to lay down arms "for the sake of your safe future".
