Over the past day, Russians shelled 15 settlements in Zaporizhzhya Region, the Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration (RMA) reports on Telegram.
According to the National Police, the occupiers fired at civilian infrastructure near the settlements of Zaliznychne, Novoandriyivka, Malynivka, Poltavka, Dorozhnyanka, Preobrazhenka, Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, Orikhiv, Hulyaypole, Novodanilivka, Olhivske, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Chervone.
Also, the RMA reported that over the past day, civilians were evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory. Thus, 94 people managed to leave, 13 of them - children.
Updated. The head of the RMA Oleksandr Starukh said that the occupiers used multiple rocket launchers with incendiary ammunition. He showed photos and videos of the consequences of the night shelling of Orikhiv and Preobrazhenka village.
"As a result of the attack, fires broke out in a multi-storey building in the city centre and nearby residential buildings. Six apartments were burning. The total area of the fire was more than 400 square metres. Information about the victims is being clarified," Starukh wrote in Telegram.
It is currently known that two people were killed and one injured in the village of Preobrazhenka.
Starukh noted that the town of Orikhiv and the surrounding villages are subject to enemy attacks almost every day. The enemy is systematically destroying the settlement.
"We urge residents of Orikhiv to evacuate to safe places. Now there is such an opportunity. The local authorities are in charge of the process, they are ready to provide transport and shelter," the head of the RMA emphasized.
