Russia and Iran use combat drones against Ukraine in order to use them to attack other European countries, as well as Israel, Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has said in an interview with the US TV channel Fox News.
"They use these technologies (drones) as a combat test. Two terrorist regimes, Russia and Iran, which have joined forces, use them against Ukraine. But then they can use them against Israel, some European countries. I told my colleagues: you will not be able to feel calm when you spend time with your family at a football or baseball game, or at some concert, because any terrorists will be able to use these drones against you," Reznikov said.
He added that Iranian instructors are currently in Crimea and suggested that they are also in Belarus.
"Iranian drones are used from two directions: southern - from Crimea and northern - from Belarus. They use Belarus as a springboard," Reznikov noted.
He stressed that it is important to ensure full air defence of Ukraine with the help of various types of short, medium and long-range systems. In particular, those designed to destroy not only cruise or ballistic missiles, but also Iranian drones.
