As of Tuesday, 25 October, 34 settlements or 1.8% of the territory of the region remained occupied in Kharkiv Region, the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Synehubov said during a national telethon, according to Dzerkalo Tyzhnya.
"We still officially have 34 settlements under occupation, which is 1.8% of the entire territory of Kharkiv Region. And, of course, we are waiting for a statement from the General Staff," Synehubov said.
According to him, despite the rains, the Armed Forces continue to advance and drive the occupiers out of the invaded territories.
"Both the weather and the enemy make their own adjustments - no one voluntarily leaves our territory, so our soldiers have to fight for every metre of land in very tough battles," he added.
