On 28 October, emergency power cuts continued in Kyiv as directed by Ukrenergo. The previously published schedules of stabilization outages are no longer relevant, the Kyiv City State Administration (KSCA) reported. It added that due to significant damage and imbalance in the power system, longer power outages may be applied.

"If the power does not come back on after the stabilization shutdown, please report it via the DTEK chatbot. You can receive information about possible power outages in the capital through the YASNO chatbot," the message says.

The KSCA urged to consume electricity moderately - to turn on energy-intensive appliances in turns, to minimize electricity consumption in the morning from 06:00 to 11:00 and from 5:00 to 11:00 p.m. Business customers are asked to limit the use of outdoor lighting on the facades of offices, restaurants, shopping centres.

The website of DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids reported that power outages for the region will also continue. The press service of DTEK published a message about the cancellation of the blackouts that took place on 27 October, but this applies only to the wave of power consumption restrictions that took place yesterday. Today, new emergency outages are taking place.

On 27 October, after yet another Russian terrorist attack on Kyiv Region, the stabilization blackouts were replaced by unprecedented restrictions. They mainly affected the central regions of Ukraine.
