Ukrainians were not frightened by enemy missile attacks, so there was no mass exodus from the country. Passenger traffic on 10-11 October at the borders even decreased, there were no car queues, the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko said at a briefing, according to the correspondent of LB.

"After Russia's massive strike on the territory of Ukraine, we have not recorded mass border crossings by citizens leaving the country. Quite the contrary. For example, on 10-11 October, the figures dropped to 75 thousand people per day. Although before that the passenger flow across the border fluctuated at the level of up to 90 thousand people," he said.

Demchenko stressed that in the first days of massive Russian missile attacks there were no car queues at the borders.

"In September, compared to August, the total passenger traffic decreased by 10%. And this month, in October, we also have not registered any growth".

In total, from 24 February to the end of September, almost 20.5 million people were registered at border crossing points.

"9.3 million were heading to Ukraine, and 11.1 million were leaving. The largest number of people was registered at the border with Poland, which is more than 50%. Now, as a rule, before the weekend we record an increase in the number of people leaving. But the difference is insignificant. On other days, more people go to enter Ukraine. Therefore, the average ratio is 50% to 50%."
