Maximum attention is paid to two sections of the border, and the number of engineering structures and mining of territories has been increased. The occupiers are transferring manpower and equipment to the territory of Belarus. But so far, no strike group that could invade from the territory of Belarus has been observed, the spokesman of the State Border Guard Service (SBGD) of Ukraine Andriy Demchenko said at a briefing, the correspondent of LB.ua reports.

"There are currently no changes in the situation on the border with Belarus. It remains under control. The Armed Forces of Belarus continue activities on covering the border with our country within Brest and Homel regions. The numbers do not change, as well as the nature of their actions," he said.

"However, unfortunately, the Republic of Belarus does not stop supporting Russia's armed aggression against our country, providing its territory, airspace and infrastructure. The constant threat of missile and air strikes, as well as drones - all this is still present daily. In addition, we record the escalation of the situation both on the part of Russia and Belarus regarding the creation of the so-called joint group of troops and the transfer of forces and equipment of the aggressor country to Belarus. So far, there is no such strike group that could invade from the territory of Belarus. Nevertheless, unfortunately, these countries are undertaking such measures," Demchenko said.

He assured that Ukraine had long been aware of Russia's deliberate intentions to involve Belarus in the war.

"The threat in this area remains as before. All security and defence forces of Ukraine that protect and defend the border with Belarus are ready for any situation," said the SBGD spokesman.

The protection of the border with the Republic of Moldova, unrecognized Transnistria, has also been significantly enhanced.

"Maximum attention is paid to these two sections of the border with Belarus and Moldova to prevent aggravation of the situation, its escalation. In case of such situations, we will give an adequate response," he said.

To this end, he said, security measures have been enhanced, the number of engineering structures and mined areas has been increased.

"Our units have already worked out all actions in case of invasion," summed up Demchenko.
