President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has established four more military administrations in Kherson Region.
The corresponding decree was published on the president's website. The Dolmativka village military administration of Skadovsk District, the Hola Prystan city military administration of Skadovsk District, the Kakhovka city military administration of Kakhovka District, the Khrestivka village military administration of Kakhovka District were formed.
These territories are temporarily occupied.
"The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Kherson regional state administration shall take measures related to the establishment of military administrations specified in Article 1 of this Decree in accordance with the Law of Ukraine 'On the legal regime of martial law'," the document reads.
Prior to that, the president established military administrations in Kherson Region by two more decrees. They were signed in October and September.
Today, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu announced the withdrawal of troops from Kherson Region to the left bank of the Dnipro. Kherson, the only regional centre that Russians have managed to occupy since 24 February 2022, is located on the right bank.
Shoigu called the withdrawal a "manoeuvre of troops".
