Businessman Ihor Kolomoyskyy refused to comment on the situation around the Ukrnafta company, whose assets were alienated to the state for the period of martial law.

"No comments or assessments until the end of the war," Kolomoyskyy told LB.ua.

On 7 November, the Ukrainian authorities announced the nationalisation of several enterprises that will provide for the urgent needs of the Armed Forces and other aspects of the defence sector. The list includes Ukrnafta, a company co-owned by oligarch Ihor Kolomoyskyy.

On 9 November, PJSC Ukrnafta "announced that its headquarters were blocked by armed men, and the Security Service of Ukraine conducted searches at the Kremenchuk refinery, which is owned by Ukrnafta.

In September, NABU detectives conducted searches in Kolomoyskyy's office in the case of the seizure of Ukrnafta's property and funds worth almost UAH 13 billion in 2015 prices. Moreover, there was some information on the businessman's deprivation of Ukrainian citizenship. Currently, this has not been officially confirmed.
