Russia did not shell Odesa Region on the night of 11 December, the spokesman for the Odesa regional military administration, Serhiy Bratchuk, has said.

"Emergency and urgent shutdowns continue in the region and the city. However, electricity is gradually returning to our homes," he said.

According to him, Odesa critical infrastructure facilities receive power.

Bratchuk warned though that the threat of enemy attacks on energy infrastructure remains.

The presidential office stated that it would take more time than usual to restore power supply in Odesa after the attack of Russian drones.

Due to the night attack of drones on 10 December, significant destruction of energy facilities occurred in Odesa Region, thousands of consumers remain without electricity.

In addition, DTEK reported that all consumers, except for critical infrastructure, were disconnected from electricity in Odesa.

According to Ukrenergo, some of the main high-voltage networks and equipment were damaged as a result of enemy strikes on energy facilities in Odesa.
