Since the de-occupation of territories in Kharkiv Region, 36 residents have tripped over explosive devices planted by Russians. Ten of them lost their limbs, the website of Izyum city council has said.

"After the liberation of the city of Izyum in September by our defenders, the Russian occupiers left many 'gifts' in the form of explosive devices. During the de-occupation, 36 people, two of whom are children, have sought medical assistance with explosive injuries. Unfortunately, 10 injured persons could not save their lower limbs, so these people will forever remain with injuries and sad memories of the 'Russian world'," the city council said.

Local authorities and doctors ask residents to be careful, explosive objects can be hidden in the forest, fields, gardens and even city streets.
