Russian troops struck again at the centre of Kherson, said Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko.
"The enemy struck the city centre again. 100 meters from the building of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, which was attacked yesterday. There is information about two dead," he wrote on Telegram.
Emergency services are working at the site.
After withdrawal from Kherson and the right bank of the region, Russians are shelling the de-occupied territories. The authorities urge residents to temporarily relocate to safer cities. Korabelnyy district of Kherson suffers the most from enemy shelling.
According to Nataliya Humeniuk, spokesperson of the Operational Command South, the occupiers are trying to demonstrate control over the territories they withdrew from by inflicting terrorist attacks on them.
