The Estonian Government at a meeting on Thursday, 22 December, decided to provide Ukraine with a new package of military assistance, European Pravda reported citing the Minister of Defence Hanno Pevkur.
"We continue to support Ukraine and today we approved a new aid package for Ukrainian servicemen. The package mostly includes individual equipment, therefore this is what the Ukrainians specifically asked us for," Pevkur said.
According to him, the new package will include winter field uniforms, personal protective equipment and drones. The Minister did not disclose the cost of the approved aid package.
Pevkur added that since the beginning of the invasion, Estonia had already transferred to Ukraine weapons and various military equipment worth more than 1 billion euros.
