The Ukrainian Defence Forces have struck the airfield in Kakhovka, Kherson Region, where Russian troops were based, an adviser to the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Serhiy Khlan, has said on the air of Espreso TV.
According to him, a large number of Russian troops were reportedly destroyed, as well as a lot of military hardware.
"This is the area of the local airfield. It is not used as an airfield there. But still a large amount of equipment was destroyed there," he said.
