Detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau are conducting searches in Dnipro in the criminal case related to the "Big Construction" project. In particular, investigative actions are being carried out at the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration (RMA) Valentyn Reznichenko, Schemes reports citing sources.
"According to journalists' sources, the searches began on the morning of December 26. Detectives are conducting investigative actions directly in the premises of the administration - Reznichenko's office, as well as in the Department of Housing and Communal Services, which is responsible for procurement within roads construction and reconstruction, and several other departments of the RMA," the journalists noted.
In addition, investigative actions were conducted at the premises of the RMA contractors - at the premises of the company Budinvestengineering, at production enterprises and at the company's related parties. Budinvestengineering is associated with a woman journalists' sources called Reznichenko's girlfriend.
The journalists of the Schemes program found out that the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration had allocated a record amount of UAH 2.314 billion for the reconstruction of roads in the region. The amount is higher than that allocated in the regions where Russian shelling inflicted more significant damage to roads.
