Russians are planning to reach the administrative border of Donetsk Region by the end of this year, reports Ukrayinska Pravda citing Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Malyar on air of the national telethon.
"They set themselves the task to reach the borders of Donetsk Region by the end of the calendar year," said Hanna Malyar.
She noted that now the town of Bakhmut is our eastern fortress, where the enemy has concentrated the most military equipment and weapons. There was a slight advance there, but Ukrainian Army ousted the enemy.
The Deputy Defence Minister also informed that as of today the enemy is trying to surround the town, but they are also failing.
