The Armed Forces of Ukraine and other components of the Defence Forces have already liberated 40% of the territories occupied after 24 February, and in general - 28% of all temporarily occupied by the invaders, said Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Valeriy Zaluzhnyy.
For example, the liberation of the right bank of the Kherson Region increased the amount of liberated land to almost 40 thousand square kilometres.
According to the Commander-in-Chief, Ukraine is currently holding back the Russians on a land area of 3786 km. The active front line is 1500 km.
Military exercises for the Ukrainian military continue on the territory of 17 states. In 2022, more than 20 thousand soldiers were trained.
