Russians have not abandoned their plans to reach the administrative border of Donetsk Region. To capture Luhansk and Donetsk regions, the Russians are focusing their efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut area, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
They are trying to improve their tactical position in the Lyman and Avdiyivka areas and strengthen the grouping in Novopavlivsk at the expense of units redeployed from the Kherson sector.
The enemy conducted eight air strikes and 18 attacks from multiple rocket launchers over the last day.
Meanwhile, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defence Forces conducted four strikes on the clusters of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment. The missile troops and artillery of the Ukrainian Defence Forces fired at two command posts and four clusters of Russian manpower and military equipment over the current day.
