Six vessels with 153,000 tons of Ukrainian agricultural products left Odesa Region seaports on 14 and 15 January, the Infrastructure Ministry reports on Facebook.
"Grain Initiative": over the weekend, six vessels with 153,000 tons of agricultural products for Africa, Asia and Europe left the ports of Greater Odesa," the statement said.
One of the vessels is the bulk carrier DYNAMIC M, which carries 27,500 tons of agricultural products to Libya.
Currently, 21 vessels are in the ports of Odesa Region, and 800,000 tons of Ukrainian agricultural products are to be loaded on them. One vessel is moving along the "grain corridor" to Ukrainian ports.
The queue of ships waiting for inspection is growing in the Bosporus. As of 15 January, there are 109 vessels in the queue, 22 of which are loaded with agricultural products. The agency emphasizes that the Russian delegation continues to slow down inspections and refuses to work after 15:30. Currently, only 2 vessels out of 81 that declared participation in the "grain initiative" have been registered.
Since 1 August, 653 vessels have left the ports of Odesa Region, exporting 17.5 million tons of Ukrainian food to Asia, Europe and Africa.
Due to the downtime of Ukrainian ships loaded with grain in the Bosporus, Ukrainian farmers lose 20 thousand dollars per day from each vessel.
