Minister of National Defence Mariusz Blaszczak said that Poland will provide Ukraine with additional infantry fighting vehicles and T-72 tanks, CNN reported.
The Polish army uses BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicles, Defence24 reports, which is likely to be part of a new military aid package.
According to the Polish Defence Ministry, Ukraine may receive equipment for a brigade unit. This could mean the supply of 30-40 T-72s and about 80-100 BMP-1s.
At the same time, the Tallinn Declaration mentioned Poland's transfer of 42 BMP-1 units and training of two mechanized battalions.
