Russians in the occupied territories of Ukraine are stepping up measures to force the passportization of the population, resorting to pressure, manipulation and threats, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports on Facebook.
"In the temporarily occupied part of Kherson Region, the enemy continues to forcibly passportize the population. Russian occupational forces, together with the police, have intensified checkpoint inspections and threaten to evict all citizens who do not receive a Russian passport from the beginning of March," the statement said.
Earlier, the invaders announced the "re-registration" of agricultural land in the occupied territories of Kherson Region.
