The majority of Ukrainians believe that Ukraine will soon defeat the Russian invaders, thanks to the help of its partners, according to a poll conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).
“The majority of Ukrainians - 67% - believe that Russia is exhausting its resources and that it is realistic for Ukraine to win together with its partners in the not-too-distant future. 22% believe in a significant reserve of resources of the Russians and a long exhausting confrontation with an uncertain end. Another 11% could not decide on this issue,” the message states.
At the same time, only 9% of Ukrainians are ready for territorial concessions in exchange for peace, while 87% are against it.
“Even among those who believe Russia still has enough resources for a protracted war, 75% oppose territorial concessions in exchange for peace,” sociologists say.
