President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has enacted the decision of the National Security and Defence Council to impose and amend personal special economic and other sanctions.
Corresponding decree No. 163/2023 was published on the president's website.
The secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the NSDC decision.
According to the NSDC decision, sanctions were imposed on 300 individuals, including citizens of the Russian Federation, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the Syrian Arab Republic. In particular, there are decisions regarding Syrian President Bashar Hafez al-Assad and Syrian Prime Minister Hussein Arnous.
Sanctions were also imposed on 141 legal entities. Among them is the Iranian manufacturer of Shahed drones.
