Russian troops have intensified mortar and cannon artillery attacks on the Dnipro-Buh estuary, the Operational Command South has said on Facebook.
"Against the backdrop of the revision and extension of the grain agreement with regard to the timing and expansion to Mykolayiv ports, the occupiers intensified mortar and cannon artillery attacks on the waters of the Dnipro-Buh estuary in the direction of Ochakiv and the Kutsurub community. The enemy fired mortars and cannon artillery at the waters of the Ochakiv community," it said.
According to the OC South, there was no damage to infrastructure and no casualties.
The grain initiative agreement was extended for another 120 days. The parties are working on involving Mykolayiv Region ports in the grain initiative and expanding the range of cargo. The involvement of Mykolayiv Region ports is possible only after the shelling of the region stops.
