Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyy had a telephone conversation with Chief of the UK Defence Staff Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, the press service of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
"I informed my colleague about the operational situation along the entire front line. The situation in the Bakhmut sector is the most difficult," the statement reads.
It is noted that thanks to the titanic efforts of the Defence Forces, the situation has been stabilised.
The parties also discussed the issue of strengthening Ukrainian air defence, agreed to develop cooperation and keep in touch.
