Over 280 residents of Kyiv Region missing during Russian occupation - Nyebytov

As of 25 March, 1,374 bodies of civilians killed during the occupation have been found in Kyiv Region, Andriy Nyebytov, the chief of the Kyiv regional police, has said on the air of the news telethon.

He recalled that law enforcers are finding new graves in the de-occupied territories.

"As of today, we have 1,374 bodies of dead Ukrainian civilians, most of whom were killed with small arms by the Russian army. [Of these] 1,174 bodies have been identified, the remaining are 200 bodies. We have conducted appropriate genetic and molecular examinations on all the bodies, extracted DNA and entered it into the database," he said.

He also noted that 283 residents of Kyiv Region remain missing after the occupation.
