Ukraine's Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov told ERR that the Ukrainian counter-offensive will begin in April-May on several fronts.
When asked when Western tanks would be seen on the battlefield, the Ukrainian minister spoke about plans for a counter-offensive.
"You will see them in a counterattack by the decision of our General Staff. It is already planned in several directions. It depends on what moment is the most suitable, as they decide. It also depends on the weather conditions. In spring, our land is very wet. We can only use tracked machinery. I think we will see them in April or May," said Alexey Reznikov.
The minister compared Western and Soviet tanks to Zhiguli and Mercedes.
He concluded that this year would see very positive changes for Ukraine. In particular, in the form of territories liberated from occupation.
Zelenskyy recently explained the importance of defending Bakhmut: Putin can "sell" the town's capture to the West, China and Iran as his victory. If Putin senses weakness, he will use it to apply further pressure.
