The intensity of Russian shelling on the border of Kharkiv Region has recently increased significantly, the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Synyehubov, has said, as quoted by to Suspilne.

About 15-20 hits are recorded in local communities every day. Russians are destroying the infrastructure of the region.

"The intensity of the shelling, unfortunately, is the same as they demonstrate virtually around the clock. We have about 15 settlements under fire today. Fortunately, no-one was wounded this morning. We will continue to monitor the situation. The residential infrastructure is being destroyed. We record more frequent shelling, for example, of the settlement of Udy, Kozacha Lopan - this is Kharkiv District, the north of our region. And the Vovchansk direction has been shelled more intensively. A medical facility in this settlement was damaged," he said.
