Russia carried out 34 air strikes and fired 31 times from multiple launch rocket systems on the 418th day of its full-scale aggression against Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in its evening report.
There are wounded among the civilian population.
Despite suffering considerable losses, Russian troops focus their main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka sectors. Over the day, Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 50 enemy attacks in these areas.
Bakhmut and Maryinka remain at the epicentre of hostilities.
Over the day, the Ukrainian Defence Forces aviation carried out 12 strikes on Russian clusters. Also, a Russian reconnaissance UAV of the Merlin type was shot down. Missile and artillery units struck two areas of Russian manpower clusters and one electronic warfare station.
