Russian forces have reduced pressure on Vuhledar, but the situation in the Avdiyivka-Maryinka direction remains very difficult, Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyy, spokesman for the Tavriya Defence Forces, has said on the air of the news telethon.
"The shelling does not stop around the clock. Thanks to our soldiers, none of the enemy's attacks have been successful," Dmytrashkivskyy said.
According to him, the Russians stormed Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in the area of Maryinka and Avdiivka 24 times over the last day.
