The secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, has said that the Russian army continues to intimidate its own civilians. He was commenting on the explosion of an air bomb in Russia's Belgorod yesterday.
"Belgorod. The Russian occupying army continues provocative shelling of its own cities in order to intimidate the civilian population and escalate the situation," Danilov tweeted.

армія продовжує провокаційні обстріли власних міст з метою залякування цивільного населення і нагнітання ескалації. Лише надання 🇺🇦далекобійної зброї дасть можливість локалізувати джерело московітських провокацій на етапі планування та підготовки до пуску.
He noted that only the provision of long-range weapons to Ukraine will make it possible to localise the source of "Moscow's provocations" at the planning stage.
The Russian Ministry of Defence admitted that it had accidentally hit Belgorod. The ministry said that on the evening of 20 April, a Su-34 VKS aircraft was flying over the city when a bomb dropped unexpectedly.
