Prosecutors have recorded another crime by members of the so-called Wagner PMC. This time, they forcibly deported four families with children, the Prosecutor-General's Office of Ukraine has said.

The juvenile prosecutors of the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

During the monitoring of media and pro-Russian Telegram channels, prosecutors found a video. Representatives of the so-called Wagner PMC, led by Yevgeny Prigozhin, illegally deported two families of Bakhmut residents with two minor children on 16 April 2023.

In the second video, a representative of the Wagner PMC talks to one of these families and a child in a place of temporary residence.

It was also established that on 17-18 April 2023, armed Wagner members took two more families of Bakhmut residents with young children to an unknown destination.

In total, three boys and one girl were illegally deported.

Priority investigative actions are currently underway to establish all the circumstances of the criminal offences, to find the Ukrainian children and bring them home.

A few days ago, the former Wagner members confessed to atrocities against Ukrainian children. The orders to shoot and kill Ukrainians were given personally by Yevgeny Prigozhin.

As reported earlier, the Russians plan to take more than 26,000 Ukrainian children from occupied areas "on holiday". More than 600 camps will be used for this purpose.
