At a plenary session on 20 April, members of the Kyiv city council terminated the land lease agreement with the Russian embassy in Ukraine.
Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said on social media that the city council asked the Cabinet of Ministers to return the property of the diplomatic mission to the Ukrainian state.
According to Suspilne, the decision to terminate the land lease agreement was supported by 73 councillors.
