A 54-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman were killed in their own yard in Mala Tokmachka.

Two people were killed in Mala Tokmachka, Zaporizhzhya Region, as a result of Russian shelling, the head of the Zaporizhzhya regional military administration, Yuriy Malashko, has said.

"A Russian shell took the life of a family in Mala Tokmachka: a 54-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman were killed in their own yard," Malashko said.

He added that a 62-year-old woman was also wounded during artillery shelling in Kamyanske. She was on her way home with bread for herself and her neighbours.

"The evacuation team has already taken her to a medical facility where she is receiving all the necessary assistance," the governor added.

The regional prosecutor's office has launched a pre-trial investigation.
